Stephanie Wunderlich illustrated an article on the positive effect of singing for the current issue of Austrian Carpe Diem Magazine.
The art director Flora Seidl-Kietreiber wanted Stephanie to show how mind and body is overflowing with joy while singing.
Stephanie depicted the freeing emotions by showing flying birds and floating waves of staves. Even the floor tiles are dissolving as if they would fly away.
The illustration is made of cut paper – Stephanies favorite technique.
