Daniella was asked to create an illustration for Life & Arts section of the Financial Times Weekend, for Printed and Web version.
The image accompanies a review of the book There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak, a novel with stories that span different eras and locations, such as ancient Assyria, Victorian London or present-day Iraq.
Rivers run through all these stories, from the Tigris to the Thames, so Daniella used a river as the main element that unites this kind of collage where different elements, characters and places coexist.
