Alex Antonescu / Ototo / Solo exhibition

Alex Antonescu was contacted by the brand Ototo with the opportunity to showcase a solo exhibition, retrospecting his work across the years. Due to the fact that Pride Bucharest was in full bloom and queer art has Alex’s name written all over it; turned the showcase into a love letter to his work and what really is the story behind it.
The collection is called “Coloured Fragments” and it binds Alex’s most recent pieces with ones that are as old as 4 or 5 years. It’s a retrospective into his style, emotions, beliefs and they all coexist due to his feelings poured into them. Fragments of life surrounded by illustration.
The exhibition is a “thank you” to illustration and the opportunities it brought and also an “I love you” to the queer community.
