Alex Antonescu / Munich Re’s North American / DEI Pride Book Club

Antonescu Alex was commissioned to do a special illustrated bookmark for the “DEI Pride Book Club” participants, employees at Munich Re’s North American (US and Canada). The Book Club is completely employee-led and this edition is centered around Pride 2024 and it’s celebration.
Munich RE takes pride on its beautiful campus and especially on its extensive art collection so the illustration highlights also the headquarters as a base for the colourful characters that interact with each other.
The projects theme is pronouns, gender and how to understand it and respect it. The bookmark will be given away to all book club participants along with a physical copy of the book that will be read: “Yes, You Are Trans Enough” by Mia Violet.”
