Oboh Moses / Lantana Publishing / Freedom Braids – Book Illustration

Oboh Moses was commissioned by Lantana Publishing to create a cover art and a series of illustrations for the children’s book, Freedom Braids, written by Monique Duncan.
A picture book of love, liberation and legacy inspired by the true story of enslaved African women in Colombia braiding maps to freedom. The book unfolds the story of an enslaved child who finds friendship, solidarity, and an escape to freedom.
The book received an endorsement from The Amnesty International and is now been published worldwide.
