Graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 1996 with a BFA and no real knowledge of the illustration business, Matt had to rely on his passion for seeing the world around him on paper. Armed only with a pencil and a computer, and a determination to never again be a salesman or a cafe counterperson, Matt embarked on a career in illustration.
