After graduation from Portland State University, Tyson has illustrated for multitudes of magazines, newspapers, books, CDs, websites, corporate and advertising clients from all over the world. He received his first award in college, where he won PRINT Magazine’s annual international student cover design competition. Tyson also illustrated the nationally distributed comic book, ODDJOB, for the past six years.
